Whether you swim for pleasure, to keep fit, train or compete, the pools at the Aquatic Centre have something for everyone.

The Aquatic Centre at the Vaudoise aréna comprises four pools in a large quadrilateral with a total volume of 45,000 cu. m. Designed in white, grey and blue, bathed in natural light filtered through the translucent shell of the building and through large windows opening to the south and east, the Aquatic Centre is characterised by the elegance of its architecture and the purity and quality of its materials, where form serves function, creating an atmosphere of serenity and a feeling of generous space. Bleacher seating for 700 spectators is located to the north, above the changing rooms.
Serving a population of several hundred thousand residents, the Aquatic Centre is equipped with the most advanced technologies for managing and treating bathing water and energy. It is open to the general public, schoolchildren, students, members of swimming, artistic swimming, diving and water sports clubs, and athletes from the Swiss swimming and triathlon federations, and provides an opportunity to learn to swim from an early age.
The 50m-long Olympic pool, approved for all international competitions, has a removable wall system in two sections, allowing the pool to be subdivided into two or four lengths, as required. Temperature 27°.
The diving pit, also approved for official competitions, is dominated by an emblematic diving board with platforms at 1m, 3m, 5m, 7.5m and 10m, as well as springboards for team diving (three 3m springboards and two 1m springboards on the ground). Adjacent to the pit, a training room equipped with a trampoline allows athletes to train out of the water. The Aquatic Centre is a certified regional performance centre. Temperature 27°.
The leisure and teaching pools are divided into a zone with a removable floor for learning to swim at all levels, and a relaxation area equipped with water features (jets, bubble systems and swan necks). Temperature 28°.
The paddling pool, right next to the leisure pool, has water jets and a small, sculpted mound so that the very young can get to grips with the water and play in it. Temperature 29°.
